Welcome.

One Rhythm arose out of connection. Our connection to each other and all living things. When I was younger, drum circles brought me in touch with that ancient heartbeat rhythm. That sound of all sounds that is in everything. I still feel so spiritually connected when I hear a drumbeat. That raw and tribal vibration of Spirit. When I do yoga, when I am truly living my yoga, I feel that same vibration. It is healing and exuberant. Everyone should have the opportunity to experience it.

I want to say to you, Jai! and Congratulations! Even just taking an interest in this site is a step towards honoring yourself with the gift of Yoga. Yoga is an essential component to my life. I have been practicing for more than 11 years. My first teacher gave me an amazing opportunity to grow when she invited me to study with her, and substitute teach her classes. She gave me space to embrace confidence, and allowed me to discover my own style of teaching. Since that time, I have had the continuous joy of sharing yoga and studying under inspiring teachers. I learn much from the world around me, as well as the amazing students and teachers I am blessed to have in my presence. I honor and always welcome and appreciate feedback. It helps me grow as a person and also assists me in becoming a more adept teacher.

Maintaining a personal practice is very important to me. With a family to take care of, yoga is an amazing tool for balancing and grounding. Yoga helps me handle the stresses of everyday life and reminds me to keep things in perspective. When I teach a class, whether it be an individual or group, that is where my focus is. Keeping up a personal practice for myself allows me to give you the attention you deserve in your own session.

I have completed over 400 hours of Yoga Alliance approved programs of study. I am a Certified Yoga Instructor in the Hatha/Vinyasa lineage and I am consistently studying to improve myself and my teaching technique. I am also in the process of obtaining my Doctorate in Natural Healing through Clayton College of Natural Health. This will allow me to bring a full spectrum of healing to your session.

Feel free to peek in on me every now and then by clicking the Live Your Yoga link. Live Your Yoga is my personal online blog/journal. Travel with me as I explore the depth of yoga in my own life through everyday occurrence. I’ll be sharing thoughts on my own personal practice and yogic evolution, as well as ideas to live joyfully through all aspects of health and wellness. There’s also bound to be entries on motherhood, family life, friendships, and even possibly what I had for breakfast that morning…

With infinite blessings! -B
